Nestled in a quiet area of Braunlage, the hotel offers a welcoming atmosphere that made us feel right at home, courtesy of the gracious hosts, Andreas and his wife. The commendable breakfast featured an impressive selection, including homemade muesli and local specialties, providing a delightful start to the day. Alongside this, the facilities were well-maintained, with a clean and comfortable room enhanced by amenities such as an electric kettle and complimentary Wi-Fi. One noteworthy aspect is the free parking and accessible ski storage, making it an ideal base for outdoor enthusiasts exploring the stunning Harz region. For those seeking relaxation, the sun terrace and garden area offer a peaceful retreat. In essence, Wappenhof presents a sound balance of luxury and value, inviting nature lovers to experience its charm without overspending. A stay here would certainly be an economical choice for those prioritizing quality and hospitality.
